Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) is a thriving community hospital that proudly provides acute care services including: Emergency, Surgery, Medicine, Women’s and Children’s Health, Intensive Care, Mental Health and Inpatient Rehabilitation to the residents of Cambridge, the township of North Dumfries and the Region of Waterloo.


Our vision is to provide exceptional healthcare by exceptional people with an enthusiastic team of clinical, non-clinical and support staff. Ember is CMH’s very own Facility Dog that has been part of the CMH Family since May 2022. She exclusively supports the well-being of staff, physicians, midwives, and volunteers - offering comfort, connection, and moments of joy amidst the healthcare environment. Whether it’s a calming presence during a busy day or a gentle reminder to take a moment of pause, Ember plays a vital role in fostering a positive and supportive environment.
