Finding parking should be the easiest part of your visit. That’s why we’re adding 34 new visitor parking spaces in Lot #3, across from Lot #4, effective December 1, 2025. Lot #3 is now a partially blended lot with staff parking, giving patients and visitors more convenient options when arriving for appointments or seeing loved ones.

These improvements reflect what we heard from you in our recent parking survey. To help you find your way, updated signage is now in place and our online parking map has been refreshed.

This expansion is just the beginning. Parking is a priority, and we are actively planning more improvements to support better access for everyone who comes to CMH. We look forward to sharing further updates as this work continues.

Thank you for your patience as we make these important changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Will the gate arm be up or down?

The gate will be down and operate the same as it does in Visitor Lot #2 and #4.

  1. Will I still be able to use my HPASS or the at-gate/Kiosk payment method?

Yes. Operationally, nothing changes for visitors or patients when accessing this lot.

  1. Will there be a gate between the Visitor section and Staff section?

No. There is signage installed to help identify where the visitor lot ends. Kindly refrain from parking in the staff section as there is no visitor or patient access into the building from the back of the building. For your safety, please use designated spots only.

  1. Is this change permanent?

Yes. We remain committed to ensuring there are a sufficient amount of spots for patients and visitors.

  1. Will the price remain the same to park in these new spots?

Yes. The cost to patients and families, whether using HPASS or paying at the gate or kiosk in Wing D, remains the same.

  1. What if I park in the Staff section because the Visitor section was full?

If you do not find parking in this lot, please try another Visitor lot (#2 and #4). There is no visitor or patient access into the building from the back of the building. For your safety, please use designated spots only.

  1. What if I get lost trying to find parking in Lot #3?

Signage has been posted to aid with wayfinding. As patients and visitors get used to this lot, CMH security will be on site to assist you.
