Cambridge, Ontario – Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation is proud to announce that the CMH’s Fracture Clinic, located in the new Wing A, will be named in honour of Gore Mutual Insurance Foundation. This naming recognizes more than $1.3 million in philanthropic investment from Gore Mutual Insurance Foundation and Gore Mutual Insurance, honouring the strong partnership between the organizations for decades.
Serving more than 13,000 patients annually, the Fracture Clinic provides consultation, fracture management and surgical follow-ups to all age groups, ensuring timely care stays close to home.
Gore Mutual Insurance — which recently merged with Beneva, Canada’s largest mutual insurer — has been a cornerstone of Cambridge since 1839. Guided by their purpose of Insurance that does good, with their investment, the Company and its Foundation have supported the hospital in delivering on state-of-the-art equipment driving innovation and ensuring modern care stays close to home.
The support and naming of the clinic will be celebrated with a special reception and plaque unveiling on May 13, bringing together the Gore Mutual team, and the CMH and Foundation staff.

Over many years, Gore Mutual Insurance Foundation has championed many hospital campaigns including Growing Together, WeCareCMH, COVID preparedness, and has helped bring vital tools to several departments including endoscopy, surgery, women and children’s, and ambulatory services.
