As we approach the final stages of our Capital Redevelopment Project, we are excitedly preparing for the move into our newly refurbished Wing B. This new space represents an incredible opportunity to expand our services and better meet the growing needs of the communities we serve.

One of our core services, the Acute Rehabilitation program, was temporarily relocated to Freeport Campus at Grand River Hospital (GRH) during construction. Initially, the team’s move back to our hospital was planned for January 31, 2025. However, based on updated projections and the anticipated surge in admitted patients during the peak of respiratory season in January and February, we have made the difficult but necessary choice to reschedule this move to March 31, 2025.

This decision was not made lightly, as we deeply value the needs of our patients in rehabilitation and staff. By adjusting the timeline, we can ensure that our hospital is well-prepared to manage the anticipated surge in patient volumes early in the year, while maintaining the high-quality care our patients rely on. We are especially grateful to GRH for accommodating this program for an additional two months, enabling us to make this transition with confidence and care.

Thank you for your understanding and dedication as we navigate these changes together. Every step we take brings us closer to our shared vision of providing exceptional care for our community.
